CHALLENGE RULES: 
1. Make a track at least 2 minutes long, using the included instructions as a guide.
2. You must use ONLY the provided samples in the DOWNLOAD.
3. Have fun and UPLOAD your track. If possible upload a screen shot of some or all of your settings under DAW IMAGE.
Metapop Arrangement Challenge
Objective:
Arrange the elements of a short loop into your own composition at least 2 minutes long.
Method:
In the download pack you will find two folders, STEMS and MIDI. Within the stems folder are 10 audio files that all play together as a loop at 115bpm. The MIDI folder contains MIDI data for each of these audio files. In the Ableton Live download you will find a session file and the MIDI folder mentioned above.
You will import the audio stems into your DAW of choice or simply open the provided Ableton Live Session. Next you will arrange the elements in any way you choose, to playback as a composition at least 2 minutes long. You may add your own instruments or alter the provided audio/MIDI, but the provided material should be recognizable and prominent in your final composition. You may also use the MIDI files to alter the composition or to use your own sounds instead of those provided.
Feel free to use effects and automation or even chop up the samples to make them fit your composition. Get creative and make your own unique track from the provided material!
