Sharam and Yoshitoshi Recordings are teaming up with Splice to host the official remix contest for Sharam's latest single 'Heavi’. The grand prize winner will receive an official release on Yoshitoshi and the Rob Papen Explorer III Bundle. A Community Prize, or remix with the most votes, will also win a signed merch package from Sharam and Yoshitoshi.

Sharam has a message for contest participants: "HEAVi is sort of a follow up to a record I did last year called Tripi. To give you a little history, I was at Warung in Brazil back in 2012 discussing music with Seth Troxler. We talked about one of the key factors for a good producer/DJ is to make and play ‘interesting music’, void of any arbitrary genre or labeling. I gave him a track I was sitting on called Tripi and he went on to champion the track for a year and ended up releasing it as the inaugural release on his Play It Say It label. With HEAVi, I’ve tried to do just that - avoid labels, and make an interesting and memorable record that works on the dance floor.
